Thousand Trails Orlando

Orlando is a nice park.  We got there at the end of October so had plenty of spots to pick from.  After we were there for a couple of weeks it really started to fill up.  Checking in was a bit odd.  They have a sign directing you to a large lot in front of the office but they had our paperwork at the guard gate so we did not really need to pull in there.  There was no traffic so not a big deal.

Its a nice park and very large especially for a TT park.  It is subject to high use after the middle of December so we ended up just getting a seasonal spot at an encore down the road.  We just have too much stuff to deal with moving every two weeks.

The park roads are all paved but some of them are quite narrow.  When its the busy season they only let a few in at a time to find a spot.  So it can really back up on the road.  We found it best to arrange your leaving the park so you were back in before noon or would be back in after 3 or 4pm.  Otherwise you can be waiting quite awhile.

AT&T cell service was oddly shaky here for some reason.  The tower is pretty close by but it must be overly congested as we were having issues.  Issues went away at the next park and Verizon was solid at Orlando so likely just AT&T.

The park is a nature preserve and they have tortoise dens all over.
